Lace Shawl Repair
Backing up
Does this look familiar??? Yes, this is where I started at row 49 again! I was moving right along, and just about finished when I realized I didn't have enough stitches. There was nothing else to do but rip back — believe me, I tried not to do that — this is really not a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon. What you see differently here is that there are 14 stitches on the needle instead of 13. I am ready to proceed again.
It's still been work-a-little, rip-a-little, and slow going. I took one little break (more chocolate) and it's almost 3 hours later. Now I'm almost there! The distance in which to work is getting tighter, and I switched to a size smaller needle to make it a little easier.
