Gentle Breezes Stole
HeartStrings knitting pattern #H86
Picture early morning walks on the beach and looking out over gently breaking waves through the morning haze.
The ends of the stole are a wide lace border reminiscent of breaking waves. Beads give a glint of sunlight off the waves. The main lace stitch pattern gives the feel of breezes and the gentle swells of the ocean.
Fittingly, for the sample shown I chose a gently variegated gray/blue/green yarn in a color called Ocean Breeze. But feel free to choose yarn and bead colors to match the picture story you imagine of gentle breezes on a morning or evening walk.
