Print your own holiday greeting cards
featuring photography of HeartStrings Bitty Beady Christmas Trees.
Sometimes it is nice to keep things old-fashioned. Feeling a bit nostalgic, I decided to actually mail holiday cards this year. After having so much fun creating the Bitty Beaded Christmas Tree pattern, I used some of the photographs of beaded trees I had knitted and designed them into a special HeartStrings greeting card.
I thought you also might enjoy using my template to print your own to mail or use as gift card enclosures. The inside of the card says …
Wishing you and yours
a warm-hearted holiday season
and a wonderful new year.
and is ready for you to sign or add your personalized greeting.
Please note: I hope you do not run into any problems printing these. However, because there are so many types of computer systems and printers, I'm sorry that I won't be able to provide any support for printing or obtaining supplies. Of course, if you have comments or want to share how you've used the card template, I'd love to hear.
Greeting Card file
There are two files provided. Use the file for your chosen size of blank card stock.
Print a single 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" folded notecard (i.e. print front and back of a single unfolded blank notecard or 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" half-sheet of card stock, then fold in half). Note: I used silver-bordered blank white wedding card enclosures from Wilton (product #1008-579) but I don't know if these are available any more. I also printed some on glossy card stock I cut into half sheets.
Print 2 cards at a time on an 8-1/2"w x 11" full sheet of card stock. Cut into 2 pieces of 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", then fold each piece into a 4-1/4" x 5 a -1/2" notecard. Note: I think you could also use Avery #5315 blank notecards (or equivalent product offered by other companies) that have perforations and pre-scored creases to easily separate and fold the cards.
Coordinating Envelope file
