A delightful lattice of lace eyelets is embraced by a diamond lace border. The corner design of I-cord tied into bows gives this wrap its name.

Instructions are given for wraps in three sizes with guidance for alterations in length. Instructions for largest wrap (a full-size stole as pictured on this page) are listed first, with changes for smaller sizes in brackets for medium and narrow width wraps.
Finished measurements: 24 [18, 12½]" by 62" or length desired by working the Main Area pattern repeat fewer or more times. The pictured sample model is the largest size wrap knitted in Mountain Colors Winter Lace, 50% wool / 50% silk, color Red Willow.

1000 [750, 525] yards of lace weight yarn. If adjusting length, allow 72 [55, 38] yards for each 4½" change in finished length. US 4 / 3.5 mm knitting needles suggested. Gauge: 23 stitches and 28 rows per 4 inches over Main Area stitch pattern after blocking. Pattern stitches are both charted and written out.
