Bits of Lace Oak Leaf
A Bits of Lace project
HeartStrings knitting pattern #H02BOL
Believe it or not, Bits of Lace Oak Leaf is a bit of lace edging. The design features an interesting lace edging no-sewing construction built around an I-cord stem. We can think of all kinds of uses for these little leaf motifs – fall holiday decorations, appliqued to sweaters, shawls and hats, coasters, bookmarks and more. Let the fun begin!
In celebration of Fall, this special edition pattern for a little oak leaf was the October pattern in the 2012 series for Bits of Lace hosted by Jackie E-S of HeartStrings Fiberarts at the KnitHeartStrings.com membership site.
Bits of Lace Oak Leaf is now available for purchase as part of the Playing in the Leaves pattern or as an individual pattern in the KnitHeartStrings Store.
If you missed the October knit-along for Bits of Lace Oak Leaf, you can purchase the pattern while still taking advantage of the free member articles in the Oct 2012 archives at KnitHeartStrings.
