Filet Lace Knitting
Inventive techniques to replicate even-count designs
An inventive class to learn knitting techniques from the simple to the sophisticated in replicating even-count lace designs from other media such as filet crochet and embroidery.
Understand which approach to use in what situations to create the look you prefer, and practice designing your own.
Filet Knitted Heart
- Prerequisites: Basic lace knitting and charting skills
- Students supply their own yarn and needles.
- Additional student materials fee: $10 per student (includes instructions for filet knitting in various techniques and charts for sample exercises).
- Duration: 3 - 6 hours. The longer version of class allows time to cover and practice the additional techniques covered in the written materials.
